Songwriters Retreat & Collaborative Workshop

At the heart is our mainstage event: a Nashville-style Songwriters in the Round Concert, live at Arts Hub Brockville on Saturday, April 18. Hosted by the charismatic Jim Bryson and featuring a stellar three-generation Eastern Ontario lineup — Amanda Keeley, OK Naledi, and Matt Bazinet — join us for a warm, fun, and heart-tugging evening of original songs and stories.

Then on Sunday, April 19, the weekend continues with our Songwriters Retreat & Collaborative Workshop — a rare opportunity to carve out dedicated creative space and work with top-notch songwriters and producers. Jim Bryson guides with expert insights and group activities, while certified wellness facilitator Amanda Keeley hosts and grounds the time together. Lunch provided.

The 1000 Islands Song Festival is about celebrating the craft and sources of songwriting, building community around music, and bringing world-class talent to the scenic and historic 1000 Islands region.
