A Sea of Gold and Burgundy: Monarch Mosaic

A Sea of Gold and Burgundy is proud to announce our release of Monarch Mosaic, a full length record that explores themes of transformation, transcendence and travel, crossing boundaries lyrically and sonically.

In the spirit of the migration of the Monarch Butterfly, we recorded the album between Mexico (Nuevo León) and Ontario, with contributors from both Mexico and Canada. The process was a great joy and we are happy to share this good harvest.

“infusing mysticism and philosophy with folk-inspired storytelling, soulful delivery and moments of jazzy flourishes. Together, Monarch Mosaic is a gem of modern folk music – richly textured with heartfelt nuance.” - Richard Varty, Moosic Entertainment

We return to Mexico to tour the record in February and will continue to tour in Ontario during the spring. Consider lending your ears to our record and joining us in live performance when able!
