Agneya: Teleology

Toronto-based percussionist and composer Agneya releases “Teleology,” the first single from his debut album AGNEYA, arriving September 18, 2026. Rooted in a South Indian Konnakol (vocal percussion) phrase and shaped by influences from jazz, folk, and global groove traditions, the track explores rhythm as a meeting place between cultures and communities.

Produced by JUNO Award-winning pianist Jeremy Ledbetter and featuring a collective of artists connected through Canada’s music community, “Teleology” is both a hard-hitting groove piece and an invitation into a broader musical world shaped by migration, collaboration, and curiosity.

The release marks the beginning of a multi-month album campaign leading to AGNEYA’s debut full-length record and international tours in Canada, Germany, and India.
