Al Qahwa is Maryem Tollar on vocals, riqq (Arabic tambourine) and qanun (Arabic table harp); Ernie Tollar on wind instruments; Waleed Abdulhamid on bass, vocals and percussion; and Naghmeh Fahrahmand on percussion. They will be joined by 2 wonderful guest musicians - Patrick O'Reilly on guitar and Jaash Singh on percussion for this concert at DROM. Al Qahwa performs original compositions, as well as popular traditional Arabic repertoire and North African groove tunes with some jazz thrown in for good measure.
