Bet Smith: The Rooster

The Rooster is the newest single by Ontario folk singer-songwriter, Bet Smith. This upbeat trad-country song was inspired by Bet's personal experience with the clanky, feathery blow of a rooster attack.

Produced by Rob Currie, the single was recorded in Gravenhurst, Ontario. Wayne Feguson’s fiddle playing plays a starring role, complimented by Rob Currie on lead guitar. Andrew Currie’s drumming steadies The Rooster's heartbeat while John Dymond sets the punchy bass track. The Rooster was mastered by Axel Von Hafenbrädl.
