Bobby Dove: Fortune Teller Eastern Tour

Bobby Dove, a trans/non-binary singer-songwriter, originally hailing from Montreal, has worked their magic once again on the new album Fortune Teller, out now on Bandcamp and on all streaming services

Fortune Teller’s title track—with an official music video debuting on release day—asks intangible questions from a country artist’s storytelling perspective, through the power of mystical symbols and archetypes. It also sets the tone for the album, with the muse coming forward on all tracks through rich sonic layers of pedal steel, electric and acoustic guitar, piano and violin, contributed by some of Toronto’s top players including Nichol Robertson, Dani Nash and Burke Carroll.

Fortune Teller’s previously released singles “Not Much of an Outlaw,” “Trans Canadian Blues” and “Leaving Manitoba,” have received international radio play and editorial playlisting from Amazon Music, bolstering Bobby’s growing audience. The album also contains such gems as “Did I Speak Too Soon,” a duet with Grammy-winning songwriter Jim Lauderdale, a cover of Blaze Foley’s “If I Could Only Fly,” and “Dreamt I Met John Prine,” an upbeat but darkly existential romp through a dream Bobby had after the death of the legendary artist.

Fortune Teller’s release will be followed by a 21-date tour in May 2026 and several festival dates across Canada.
