Brampton Folk Club: Annual Showcase Concert

ree

The next Brampton Folk Club concert will be our Annual Showcase Case Concert on Saturday, May 24th. This year’s theme is “Canadian Greats”.  We’ve got a really great line up of two dozen (!) members of the folk club saluting some of our favourite Canadian Songs and singers. The show will include songs by Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Ian and Sylvia, Stan Rogers, Stompin’ Tom Connors, and Anne Murray, as well as more contemporary artists such as David Francey and Ron Sexsmith. The concert will be held Sanderson Hall, in the upper level of St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main St. South, Brampton. It runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. Come hungry and enjoy our yummy desserts and drinks!

As an added bonus, we will be announcing our line-up for our upcoming Friday Folk Night Concert series that starts on September 19th.
