Call for Canadian Delegation to BIME Bogotá 2026

For the fifth consecutive year, Folk Canada will participate in BIME Bogotá from May 4-7, 2026 as part of an outbound international trade mission, designed to strengthen connections between the Canadian and Latin American music sectors while creating opportunities for collaboration, touring, and market development.

Building on strong outcomes from earlier engagement, this activity aims to provide companies with access to Colombia’s music and creative industries ecosystem, generate additional trade leads, and strengthen Canada’s reputation as a source of high quality export ready music companies. Activities during the week will be presented in collaboration with: Mundial Montreal, Small World Music & AXE World music Fest.

Funding for this initiative is currently in pending confirmation. If funding is approved through CanExport, the Folk Canada mission may provide reimbursement for 50% of travel and per diem expenses.
