After a successful run of shows across the Maritimes, Nova Scotia’s Cameron Nickerson is expanding his "The Wagon" album release tour into Ontario and Quebec this spring. The tour follows the March 20 release of his debut bluegrass record, which has quickly gained traction for its raw honesty and modern take on a traditional sound.
TOUR DATES
May 16 - Copper Bottom Brewing - Montague, PE
May 21 - Cameron House - Toronto, ON
May 23 - East Coast Music Awards - Sydney, NS
Jun 6 - Grassroots Music Ranch - Ormstown, QC
Jun 11 - Port Wallis Sanctuary - Dartmouth, NS
With his "Head Tats and Bluegrass", Nickerson blends driving bluegrass instrumentation with unflinching songwriting that explores addiction, recovery, and personal growth. The project marks a defining moment for Nickerson, positioning him as a compelling new voice in Canada’s folk scene.
The first leg of the tour saw Nickerson perform across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, including a sold-out album release show at The Carleton in Halifax. Now, with momentum building, he brings the record to new audiences in Central Canada while continuing to grow his national footprint.
With a reputation for powerful, story-driven live performances, Nickerson is quickly establishing himself as an artist to watch.
