Chris McKhool: Party in the Streets
Award-winning musician Chris McKhool is turning up joy with the kids, with the release of PARTY IN THE STREET, an exuberant new song that invites children and families to sing, dance, and celebrate together. Filmed at Toronto Caribbean Carnival, the video is inspired by the vibrant traditions of Mardi Gras and Carnival, and is the second single from McKhool's upcoming album (Global Dance Party!, November 6, 2026).
Bursting with a playful New Orleans spirit, Party in the Street encourages listeners to grab their friends, join the parade, and discover the happiness that comes from making music together. Blending reggae and folk, the song reflects McKhool's signature style of introducing young audiences to musical traditions from around the globe in a way that is engaging, accessible, and fun.

Little Leaf, his most recent album, earned him a 2026 JUNO nomination for Children's Album of the Year, following an earlier nomination for FiddleFire!, and the momentum from that recognition helped fuel a 50-show Canadian tour.
