Close Kicks: The Place

"The Place" was written during a time of reflection. Knowing that being alone, you can still be emotionally anchored, and stay connected to the things that make you feel alive. The song developed as a working demo in Close Kicks' home studio, before taking it to James McKenty’s “In Record Time” studio in Peterborough to record new parts with local musicians, Warren Frank, Cassie Noble and Nathan Truax from Kawartha Lakes.
