Dave Gunning & Rose Morrison: On Tour

Dave Gunning is heading out on tour this May with special guest Rose Morrison for a run of intimate shows across Ontario and Quebec. With fourteen albums to his name and a career that includes sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Ron Hynes and Rita MacNeil, the Nova Scotian folk singer-songwriter is widely recognized for his exceptional storytelling and heartfelt songwriting. Whether on record or in concert, Gunning brings a rare authenticity and connection to every performance.

Joining him on this tour is the remarkable Rose Morrison—a gifted fiddler and vocalist from Baddeck, Nova Scotia. A professional musician for nearly 25 years, Morrison has toured internationally with The Cottars, recorded with Grammy and Oscar winner Glen Hansard, and performed at Carnegie Hall, most recently in a tribute to Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan. Her playing is both powerful and nuanced, embodying the spirit of the sea and the soul of traditional music.

Together, Gunning and Morrison will bring an unforgettable evening of songs, stories, and East Coast charm to seven stops across the region.
