Empress Nyiringango: Wihogora (no more weeping)

Ottawa-based Rwandan/Canadian Singer-songwriter Empress Nyiringango unveils her latest original single, “Wihogora (no more weeping)”, a soulful lullaby and an exploration of motherly love. Her new single “Wihogora” is also the music for the closing credits of a new Canadian film titled “It Comes in Waves” by FITCH JEAN and produced by LENZ FILMZ & ZARGARA PRODUCTIONS. This movie had its world premiere at the American Black Film Festival in Miami, USA. And it’s been officially selected to screen at the Tallgrass Film Festival in Kansas on Oct 19, 2025.
