"South of Hastings, in a sentence, is about getting out of the city to protect your peace. This is the lead single from my upcoming full-length record, For The Road, which will be out in May 2026. South of Hastings has already been picked up for airplay by several stations across Canada ahead of its public release on September 1st. One of the more interesting bits of airplay coverage has been from Andrew Shaver on his syndicated When We Wake show. I'll also be chatting with Alan Neal for 'All in a Day' on CBC Radio in Ottawa about South of Hastings on September 2, 2025 (Two Songwriter Tuesday).
