On her new single "Never Come Home Again,” Edmonton-based alt-folk artist Kaeley Jade invites listeners to release what no longer serves them and step boldly into the unknown. The new single arrives alongside a striking new video, directed by Jade herself in her debut behind the camera. "All endings lead to new beginnings, and time has a funny way of bringing us perspective," Jade continues. "There have been many moments in my own journey where I’ve been trapped in a purgatory of sorts due to an inability or unwillingness to let go. Loss and liberation can coexist, and 'Never Come Home Again' explores how letting go of the past can free us, even when letting go is painful.”
The latest single follows the stirring "Wisest Fool" and her Indigenous Music Countdown #1 "The Ceiling," all set to appear on her forthcoming album The Great Unknown, arriving April 10. Jade's recent releases have garnered growing support from CBC, SiriusXM, Ones To Watch, Stingray, CKUA, Julian Taylor's Jukebox, Exclaim!, Slow City, Just Us Folk, Great Dark Wonder, Americana UK and many more.
She'll celebrate the album with an Alberta and BC Home Routes tour, followed by a hometown Edmonton show at The Aviary on April 24th.
