Ken Dunn: Cináed

Canadian fingerstyle guitarist and singer-songwriter Ken Dunn presents Cináed, an intimate collection of roots- and Celtic-inspired instrumental music for solo acoustic guitar.
Named for Dunn’s Gaelic identity, Cináed Ó Duinn, the album brings together eight original compositions shaped by melody, reflection, and a deep sense of place. From the flowing warmth of “Aquatic Serenade” and the playful spark of “Baking the Master” to the tenderness of “Love’s Embrace,” each piece tells its story without words.
Recorded by Dunn at his home studio in Southampton, Ontario, Cináed features the natural warmth and clarity of his Waterloo WL14X acoustic guitar. The result is a quietly expressive 23-minute journey—music that rewards close listening while creating space to breathe, reflect, and simply be.
For more than three decades, Dunn has shared his original music with audiences across North and Central America. His work remains firmly rooted in the folk tradition, enriched by Celtic influences and guided by emotional honesty.
