Kentucky: Second Chance Music

Brand new Folk Canada member Jordan Holman, known publicly as acoustic rock singer/songwriter "Kentucky", has just independently released his debut solo album called "Second Chance Music". After a 2 decade-long up and down journey through Canada, the USA, and the UK as the frontman and songwriter for several bands both independently and on major labels, the Alberta-raised and Toronto-based Jordan found himself strung out and nearly dead from hardcore drug addiction, but thanks to the love of many, a few miracles, and the transcendent power of music, he survived.

Armed with a second chance and a flood of songs that still have yet to stop coming, he's returned to the scene as Kentucky, telling the true story of his life (so far) with a beautifully-produced, lyrically raw but uplifting, melodically rich acoustic guitar-led full length solo debut that places the songs themselves at the forefront. Regardless of your favourite flavour of folk, you'll be glad you took the time to listen to his journey...so far. Having just completed his 13-date Album Preview Tour on May 25, Kentucky's next major string of dates is a never-been-done Musical Houseboat Tour of the Rideau Canal from July 6-13, followed by small festival appearances throughout the summer.
