Mallory Chipman ft. Kaeley Jade: Old Man River

ree

The brand new music video from Mallory Chipman is out now! "Old Man River" ft. Kaeley Jade explores the consequences of open-pit coal mining and the provincial government's lack of protection of the Eastern Slopes of the Canadian Rockies. Filmed along the Old Man River in Southern Alberta, Mallory Chipman and Kaeley Jade co-wrote "Old Man River" amidst the ongoing water crisis in the Eastern Slopes, in response to a period of time when portions of the Old Man River had dried up in early 2024. It seeks to raise awareness around the actions needed to protect the Rocky Mountain headwaters and the consequences of excessive resource extraction.
