Mia Kelly: To Be Clear

Mia Kelly has released her highly anticipated second album "To Be Clear", recorded in Ottawa, ON with Jim Bryson at Fixed Hinge Studios.

"Mia Kelly ne laisse personne indifférent avec sa voix envoûtante et puissante. Du haut de ses 21 ans, elle donne l’impression de porter plusieurs vies en elle. Avec son nouvel album To Be Clear, habite les histoires et tous ces personnages dans une narration saisissante et vivante"  - Claudia Blais-Thompson ( Le Droit )

"The reigning Canadian Folk Music Awards’ Emerging Artist of the Year, her catalogue continues to grow with emotive pieces showcasing her powerful vocals." - Apt613

About the album:  "To Be Clear is a body of work that is honest, through and through. This album shows my vulnerability, has my emotions laid out on the table, it sees me taking risks, and tells important stories. It is a collection of songs that have bubbled to the surface in the last few years, through travel, growing up, witnessing trauma, love and loss. We wanted to produce this album so that the instrumentation elevates the lyrics, letting the stories shine through. I’m so proud of this record."

Fresh off wrapping a Quebec tour with Bobby Bazini, Mia is gearing up for her highly anticipated Canadian album release tour. She'll be hitting the stage for solo shows, including a Toronto date on October 16th and a sold-out hometown show in Ottawa on October 19th, while also joining the Good Lovelies in Western Canada run. Looking ahead, she has also announced UK dates with Blair Dunlop in 2025. Recent standout performances include Victoria's Rifflandia, Hamilton's Supercrawl, Pop Montreal and a performance with Quebec's flagship music program "Belle et Bum".
