The next momondays is back at Harmony Hall on August 24.
Created by singer-songwriter-storyteller and professional speaker Michel Neray, momondays is where songwriters turn their original music into mini one-person shows — spilling tunes, backstories, and emotional tea right in your lap. And you get three of them in one night… lucky you. It’s a rollercoaster of a ride that twists and turns through heart, head, and funny bone. It's one part concert, one part storytelling, one part theatre, and three more parts intimate, quirky, and delightfully unfiltered.
The last momondays was in Gormley on May 25. It featured Wolfville (Kevin Howley & Scarlett Flynn), Angela Saini, Andrew Leith, and Stephanie Staples. Roughly midway between Toronto, Newmarket, Markham, Stouffville and Richmond Hill is a magical venue you might have heard of... Harmony Hall has a vibe that makes you feel welcome as soon as you set foot in it. And the acoustics, gear and sound (especially with Kevin Ker behind the board) are second to none.
It was a great show — or call it an event if you prefer. The artists felt creatively stretched and fulfilled. The audience went away inspired and entertained. The reviewer was ‘blown away’ and told Michel, ’This is like a masterclass for singer-songwriters!'"
