Naghmeh: Sherreh Farrari

This is Naghmeh's first ever official release in her mother tongue of Farsi. Partly inspired by the tormented artist myth to turn our saddest struggles into art. But mostly, by the sense of urgency with which I wanted to hold on to my language.

This one is dedicated to all the folks in the diaspora, or on their indigenous land, who are keeping their mother tongue alive - to keep that connection with their ancestors and pass it on to the next generation.
