Niki Kennedy: I Don't Think About You

Award-winning Pasifika singer-songwriter Niki Kennedy channels the quiet aftermath of a toxic relationship on I Don't Think About You, a deeply personal reflection on grief, healing, and rediscovering self-worth. Born and raised in Aotearoa, New Zealand, and now based in Toronto, her honest approach to storytelling explores themes of identity, belonging, and human connection that define her forthcoming album, The Space In Between. Written and co-produced by Kennedy, the song unfolds through intimate vocals, soft piano, and expressive lap steel, balancing emotional vulnerability with a sense of fragile hope. Blending folk-roots, soul, and contemporary singer-songwriter influences, I Don't Think About You is for listeners called to stories of resilience, growth, and self-discovery.
