Ottawa-based singer-songwriter Pat Rees shares his new single “Missing Piece,” a song about finding your way back home after getting a little lost along the way.

Written from a place of reflection, “Missing Piece” looks back on chasing the wrong things, leaving parts of yourself behind, and the people who help remind you who you are. It’s about realizing that sometimes the things we spend years searching for are found in the moments, places, and connections that were there all along.

With warm acoustic textures, a driving folk-inspired arrangement, and a soaring chorus, “Missing Piece” captures the feeling of finally slowing down and appreciating what and who is right in front of you.
