Reney Ray: Don’t Be Mad At The World

One song release every Friday, for one whole year! I launched this project in April 2026.

Song 24/52 of my "Weekly Song Drops" project!

This song has quite a story to it. I wrote it during the pandemic, after my mom died. Losing a parent or a loved one during that time was a different kind of hardship. You weren't allowed to go see them in the hospital; you weren't allowed to have a funeral or to grieve with your family. You weren't allowed out of your house. I wrote this song to remind myself to stay kind and loving, despite all the anger I felt towards the world at that particular time. To everyone who lost someone during the pandemic, I hope this song makes you feel a little less alone in this specific kind of suffering. God bless!
