Samson Wrote is an avant-folk singer-songwriter whose songs urge you to pay attention to the little things, because answers may be hidden in plain sight. Samson Wrote has been nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award, been praised by Exclaim! as “prolific and expansive," and performed across Canada and Europe. Justin Orok is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter best known for his intricate, character-driven narrative songwriting. His debut album Kanata, featuring Polaris-prize winning producer Jean Martin (Tanya Tagaq), was released to critical acclaim on Paraphenalia Records in Japan. Releasing in 2025 are two new recordings: Debt, a collection of cover songs by his mentors, and California Shutters, his sophomore full-length album.
