Suzie Vinnick & Emily Burgess @ Brampton Folk Club

The Brampton Folk Club is excited to be kicking off our 22nd Friday Folk Night season with a fun double bill of “Blues, Roots and Guitars” featuring Suzie Vinnick and her friend Emily Burgess. Suzie Vinnick is the proud owner of a gorgeous voice, impressive guitar and bass chops and has won 12 Maple Blues Awards, 2 Canadian Folk Music Awards and 2 international songwriting awards. Emily Burgess is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in Peterborough, Ontario who is best known for her band The 24th Street Wailers and her work with The Women’s Blues Revue. Each will play a short set before we let them loose together and watch the sparks fly!
Advance tickets are just $22 and can be purchased:
- from the City Box Office or in person at the Rose Theatre after noon on weekdays.
- from St. Paul’s United Church (30 Main St. South) in person Monday mornings, Friday mornings, or all day Wednesdays.

The concert will be held in Sanderson Hall, on the upper level of St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main St. South, Brampton. It runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. Come hungry and enjoy our yummy desserts and drinks!
The concert is wheelchair accessible, and free parking is available at City Hall as well as the condo at 6 John St across from the church.
