Following a record number of submissions, we are so excited to announce that Peterborough-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tristan Konkle is our 2026 Emerging Artist Award recipient!
Performance sits at the centre of Tristan Konkle’s musical identity, though it has never told the whole story. Raised in Peterborough, the self-produced artist was drawn early to the architects of late-20th-century pop, pairing energetic performances with a deep commitment to songwriting craft.
For 25 years, the PFF Emerging Artist Award has been central to shining a light on new voices in Peterborough’s music community. The program offers recognition, mentorship, and performance opportunities that help young artists gain crucial early momentum in their careers.
