Art in the Park - Wakefield, QC

Compass Points North is a 4 song EP that pays tribute to Parc National du Mont-Tremblant, a large provincial park in the province of Quebec. Thematically, the lyrics delve into my memories of spending time in this park, the excitement and anticipation of doing so at the end of the school year, along with broader themes of leaving the city to reconnect and immerse oneself in nature and the natural world. I arranged and produced the songs hoping they would evoke visual depictions of mountainous landscapes, pine forests, shimmering lakes, wind rustling through leaves, and that special kind of peace and tranquility that can only be experienced by fully immersing oneself in such natural landscapes.
