Volunteer Application: 2025 Folk Music Ontario Conference

Volunteers are an essential and valued part of the Folk Music Ontario Conference, and are the heartbeat to making our event a success. Volunteers assist in many different areas of the conference, including registration, instrument lock-up, room monitoring, stage assistance, transportation, and more. In this form, you'll be asked to please indicate the three volunteer activities that you think you'd be best suited for, and any relevant experience or interests you have. After filling out the form, you'll be contacted by Folk Canada staff for a quick interview, followed by your notification of acceptance to the volunteer program, and code for complimentary registration.

All volunteers attend a mandatory orientation session either online, prior to the event, and commit to the minimum number of 3 hours per day, between October 15-19th, or equivalent minimum of 12 hours of volunteer work before or after the conference as required. In exchange, you will receive a complimentary conference registration, t-shirt, and more perks on-site!

Applicants will be considered by the Folk Canada team. Volunteers will be responsible for their own transportation and accommodation during the event, and will be able to access the discounted hotel rate through the link on our conference website.

Please note that volunteers under 18 will need a guardian on-site at the conference.
