Networking Dinners at FMO Conference 2025

Join your fellow FMO delegates for our curated networking dinners at some of Ottawa’s top restaurants. These small-group meals are a chance to unwind after the day’s events, connect with colleagues in a relaxed setting, and enjoy a specially prepared menu highlighting each venue’s signature dishes - all timed so that you can be back at the hotel in time for the Official Showcases! Lightning Talks Continue This Week!

Lightning Talks will be taking place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week, and spots have been filling up! A sign-up reminder has been sent to all conference registrants, and full schedules with expert info will be sent to all participants the day of the talks themselves. Click here for more info on Lightning Talks, and if you haven't received an email, please contact us.


Sign Up For Free On-Site Childcare!

We are once again thrilled to offer our free on-site childcare program, Little Folkers, available to all FMO conference delegates. Childcare will be provided during the daytime on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (October 16–18). The Little Folkers room will be staffed according to need, so we ask that you let us know your exact childcare requirements in advance using the signup form. If you have any questions, please contact us.


Call for Volunteers

Volunteer for the FMO Conference and be part of Canada's largest gathering of the Folk Music Industry! We ask that volunteers commit a minimum of 12 hours of time before/during/after the conference. Click here to apply to volunteer now!


Not sure if you'll have time during the conference to put in hours? We can always use volunteers to help support the staff before and after the conference! if you're interested in putting in your volunteer hours outside of conference activities, please contact us.
