A versatile artist, she has collaborated with icons like jazz legend Ranee Lee in the musical Mahalia Jackson (2013), alongside creative exchanges with luminaries such as Lorraine Klassen and Noel Mpiaza. Her debut EP, O La Si (2018), unveiled her unique sound—a spiritual, genre-defying fusion of global influences. This paved the way for her acclaimed album DOTO N'ASE (2022), supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Montreal Arts Council. A poet at heart, Canadian singer-songwriter Élise LeBlanc (She/They) is inspired by the romance of wild things. Heavily influenced by classic country, Appalachia, and western swing- her songs explore queer desire, betrayal, hope, and nature lore. Her gentle twang and rich, expressive vibratto nods to classic crooners Patsy Cline and Peggy Lee.
Her 2024 record "The Fiddle & The Fire" - produced by Leeroy Stagger (Canadian Folk Music Award-Winner whose roster includes: Corb Lund, Joel Plaskett, Mariel Buckley), was listed in the top 10 "Best Country Records on Bandcamp" review in 11/2023, and featured in a CBC Radio-Canada interview on "Culture et Confiture".
Between 2022-2024, Élise has played over 75 shows from Vancouver Island to Nashville, and has been a mainstage performer at prominent BC festivals including Cowichan Bluegrass Festival, Islands Folk Festival, Filberg Festival, and Tofino Jazz Festival.

Ellorie McKnight is a bilingual singer-songwriter, old-time fiddler & square dance enthusiast living working and creating art on the territories of the Ta’an Kwach’an Council and the Kwanlin Dun First Nation in Whitehorse, Yukon. She is also a climate change researcher & educator, as well as an advocate for sustainable farming.
Ellorie’s songs are shaped by delicate vocals, reflections of both the individual and collective human experience, and a nostalgia which invites wonder and dreaming. Vast landscapes, systems thinking and a wild heart influence her lyrics and melodies. Over the past 20 years, the two folk musicians Maren Hallberg and Jørgen Dickmeiss have been finetuning their empathetic interplay, released 6 albums and performed an abundance of shows in and outside of Denmark. In 2023, they received a Danish Music Award for Roots Name of the Year.
On their latest album “Sorgenfri” (2023) the band returned to their original setup- two musicians coming together in their joint passion and shared fate. The album was featured as one of the 10 best album releases of 2023 by RadioFolk.
